Dekhlo TV app
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 20, 2026
This policy covers the Dekhlo TV app for iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and Android TV, published by Burhani Suppliers (“we”). The short version: the app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. What you set up stays on your device, and it talks only to the provider you add and to the few services listed below.
What stays on your device
- The portal or playlist address you add, and any login details for it.
- A device address (a “MAC”) the app makes up when it is first installed. It is random, not your phone’s or TV’s real hardware address.
- Your favourites, what you watched recently, subtitle files you add, and your settings.
We never receive any of this. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Your TV provider
To play anything, the app connects to the provider you added. It sends that provider your device address, the set-top box model the app presents as, your login details if you entered any, and requests for the channels and titles you open. Your provider also sees your IP address, as any server you connect to does. What they do with it is set by their own privacy policy, not this one.
Other services the app uses
- Cloudflare DNS. To find your provider’s server reliably, the app may look its address up through Cloudflare’s public DNS service, which then sees that host name. Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- OpenSubtitles (Android). When you search for subtitles for a film or episode, the app sends OpenSubtitles.com the title, or its TMDB id when your provider supplies one. Nothing is sent unless you search. OpenSubtitles’ privacy policy.
- Firebase Crashlytics (Android). If the app crashes, it sends a crash report to Google’s Firebase Crashlytics so we can fix the problem. A report contains the error and where it happened in the app, the app version, your device model and Android version, and a random identifier for this installation. It doesn’t include your name or what you were watching, though an error message can mention the address the app was trying to reach. Firebase privacy information.
- The showcase. The built-in showcase films and test channels stream from archive.org, Blender and public test-stream hosts, which see your IP address as any website does.
Your local network
On Android TV, “Add from your phone” and adding subtitle files open a small page on your home network so your phone can send the TV a portal address or a file. It is reachable only on that network, only while that screen is open, and nothing passes through our servers.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app uses them to tell you when your provider has switched your line on. They are created on your device; we don’t run a notification server and don’t hold a push token.
Children
The app isn’t directed at children and doesn’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling information differently, we will update this page and the date at the top before that version of the app is released.
